Spice Mecca Star Aniseed 25g
Star Aniseed scientifically known as Illicium verum is a spicy fruit obtained from the evergreen tree which is native to South West China. It has a similar flavour and taste to that of the anise seed. The tree bears star shaped fruits which turn to a red rust colour when ripe and contained inside are amber coloured seeds. Both the seed as well as the husk are used as spice.
