Starting with a mash bill of 86% corn and 14% barley, the whisky is then double copper pot distilled using some of the worlds most pristine waters from the Misaka Mountain range in the Mt. Fuji basin, 250 metres below the surface. This is some of the purest water in the world and where the highest-grade sakes source their water. Finally, Tenjaku is aged in heavily seasoned Kentucky bourbon barrels resulting in a rich, full-bodied malt flavour, with a grain taste that is toned down but freely allowed to express its individual characteristics. This exquisite balance forms a clean, timeless blend of 3-year, 5-year and 6-year whisky.
